A project interrupted by the Covid years! This is Renaissance dance music on an epic scale - twenty instrumentalists on shawms, sackbuts, cornetts, dulcians, crumhorns, rackett, regals, violin band, lutes, and percussion. Partly a homage to the great recordings of David Munrow in the 1970s, this concert is filled with the glorious rhythmic and sonic splendour of sixteenth and seventeenth century music for dance band. We cant’t wait to perform this fantastic repertoire for a second time!
